Heidi Eggers-Ulve D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Heidi has been in practice in Green Bay since 1996. Her practice
was started by her father in 1968 as the first specialized pediatric
practice north of Milwaukee. She worked for her father as an
assistant starting at age 14 and has worked in various capacities in
the practice ever since. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from
Marquette University, Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University
of Iowa College of Dentistry, Masters of Science in Dentistry from
Marquette University, and a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from
Children's
Hospital of Wisconsin. She has also studied orthodontics with Dr.
Ruel Bench, a world renowned orthodontist. As well as completing the
Clinical Modification of Dentofacial Development course with Dr.
Gerry Samson at (g)nathos inc. She continues to complete advanced
orthodontic and pediatric dental continuing education courses to
better serve her patients.
Dr. Heidi is committed to the
profession of dentistry. She is a member and past president of the
Brown-Door-Kewaunee Dental Society and serves on the peer review
committee. She is a member of the Wisconsin Dental Association and
currently sits on the subcommittee for the Dental Home. She also
holds memberships in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry,
the American Dental Association, and Wisconsin Society of Pediatric
Dentistry. Dr. Heidi's
peers have recognized her commitment and honored her with the
2005-Wisconsin Dental Association Community Outreach Award and 2006
Green Bay Headstart volunteer of the year. Dr. Heidi is married to
Eric Ulve D.D.S., and has four children. Her interests outside of
dentistry include enjoying every moment of being a mommy, gourmet
cooking, and gardening. As time permits she also enjoys fishing,
upland game bird hunting, and golf.
In
1990 Casie became a patient at The Pediatric Dentistry
Clinic as a patient of Dr. Gene Eggers, Dr. Heidi's
father. Upon Dr. Heidi joining the practice in 1996, she
became a patient of Dr. Heidi and in 2002 was hired as a
dental assistant. Casie continued to work part time while
attending the Dental Hygiene program at Fox Valley Technical
College. In 2008 she graduated and rejoined the team as our
dental hygienist. Casie enjoys making every dental visit a
positive experience for our patients. In her spare time, Casie enjoys spending time with her husband and extended
family going to movies, restaurants and camping. Her great
organizational skills that we appreciate in the office are
also used for special event planning and scrapbooking.
Heather-
Certified Dental Assistant
Heather received her Dental Assisting diploma from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in 2004. She joined Dr. Heidi's team in 2005. Following Dr. Heidi's commitment to continuing education she completed her Dental Assisting National Board Exam to become a certified assistant in 2006. Heather adds a lot of laughter to our office with her bubbly personality and especially enjoys working with autistic and other special needs patients. In her spare time Heather enjoys spending time with her son.
Kristine- Dental Assistant
Kristine began her dental assisting career in 2000 as a Bay
Port High School student and completed a co-op program in
2001. She has worked in Pediatric Dentistry since 2002 and
joined Dr. Heidi's team in 2007. Kristine's energetic
personality helps to keep our team running smoothly. She
particularly enjoys working with our anxious patients to
reduce their fears and anxiety. Outside of dentistry, her
other passion is dance and she teaches at
a studio in Green Bay. In addition, she enjoys travel and
snowboarding.
Karen- Appointment Coordinator
Karen
is most likely the first friendly voice you hear when you
call our office. She has been our appointment coordinator
since 2001 after many years in the insurance industry. She
is here to assist in making sure your child's
treatment needs are addressed in a timely manner and keep
your child scheduled for their preventive care so as to
maximize your insurance benefits. Although her main focus is
at our front desk, Karen is often found helping out in all
other areas of the office as well. In her spare time Karen,
enjoys reading, golfing, and watching her girls play
softball and doing gymnastics.
Rhonda- Financial Coordinator
Rhonda joined Dr. Heidi's
team in 2006. She is here to help with all your insurance
or other financial questions. She has over 13 years of
experience working in the insurance and billing industry.
Rhonda also assists Karen with coordinating appointments.
Her vivacious personality and laughter is contagious. Rhonda's
interests include spending time with family, playing with
her two dogs and three cats, camping, and watching her niece's
sporting activities. Rhonda and her husband look forward to
having a family of their own.
