Pediatric Dentist - Green Bay, WI What Sets Us ApartPediatric Dentist - Green Bay, Appleton and Manitowoc, WI - Heidi Eggers-Ulve DDS,MS

Dr. Heidi Eggers-Ulve and team are unique. What sets us apart?

Continuing Education - Dr. Heidi recognizes the importance of continuing education to better serve our patients. Dentistry is ever changing and to stay on the forefront of pediatric dentistry it is imperative that not just Dr. Heidi, but the entire team participate in continuing education. Our team attends meetings at the local, state, and national level. Locally these include: Brown-Door-Kewaunee County dental society, NWTC, St. Vincent’s, University of Iowa, Marquette University and University of Minnesota sponsored programs. At the state level, we have attended the Wisconsin Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, and Wisconsin Society of Pediatric Dentists meetings. Nationally, we have attended the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists annual session, (g)nathos, and Linda Miles.

We are GREEN - Our office is conscious of the impact we make on the environment. Dr. Heidi set an example when she was one of the first in Green Bay to install an amalgam separator to assure clean dental waste water was going into our sewage system. Her install of this system was five years before it was required. We also have digital radiography (x-rays) so that there is no chemical waste from developing film that could get into the environment. Additionally, we make our own distilled water; in doing so we have eliminated numerous plastic jugs that needed to be made and then recycled. We are constantly adding environmentally friendly practices, but only when they meet or exceed the high quality Dr. Heidi requires of the products she uses. All “green” techniques and products meet or exceed those required by OSHA and the CDC.

In office care - We will make every attempt to complete your child’s care in our office. While sometimes it is necessary to go to the hospital to treat extensive dental needs, we recognize that this is a financial burden to many families. We also recognize that many parents would prefer their children not have additional medications to complete care. While we do have the availability of anti-anxiety medications, if a parent prefers no additional medications we can complete care in the office as well. Local anesthetic is the exception. If treatment may potentiate pain, local anesthetic is required.
